1. Core Definition

It uses pre-made bags and automatically completes a series of operations, including bag removal, bag opening, quantitative filling, venting, sealing, and discharging, to achieve high-speed packaging of laundry detergent.

 

Its core features are "rotation" and "pre-made bags."

 

Pre-made bags: These are pre-printed and pre-formed finished bags, as opposed to vertical packaging machines that use roll film for on-site bag production.

 

Rotation: The machine's main actuator is a turntable that rotates continuously or intermittently, surrounded by multiple stations that perform different operations simultaneously, greatly improving production efficiency.

 

2. Main Structural Components

A typical rotary pre-made bag packaging machine typically consists of the following key components:

 

Frame and drive system: The machine's supporting foundation and power source, ensuring the coordinated operation of all components.

 

Pre-made bag magazine: This is used to store stacked pre-made bags. It is typically equipped with a magazine lift mechanism to ensure consistent bag placement.

 

Bag retrieval/loading mechanism: This utilizes vacuum suction cups or a robotic arm to accurately pick up bags one at a time from the magazine and transfer them to a bag-gripping robot on the rotating main turntable.

 

The rotating main turntable: This is the heart of the machine. Multiple bag-gripping robots are evenly distributed around the turntable. Each robot grips a bag and moves it through various functional stations as the turntable rotates.

 

Bag opening device: When the bag-gripping robot reaches the bag-opening station, a device (such as a reverse air nozzle or a small suction cup) blows or sucks the bag's opening open, preparing it for filling.

 

Dosage filling system: This is crucial for laundry detergent packaging. Commonly used systems include:

 

Screw metering fillers: Best suited for powdered materials. High-precision dosing is achieved by controlling the number of revolutions of the precision screw, with adjustable speed and excellent dust control.

 

Weighing fillers (net/gross): Utilize high-precision sensors for the highest accuracy, but are slightly slower than screw fillers.

 

Venting device: After filling, air is expelled from the bag through vibration or gentle pressure to prevent bag bulging, facilitating subsequent sealing and aesthetics.

 

Heat sealing device: Heat and pressurizes the filled bag opening to complete the seal. Different sealing methods (such as heat pressure, pulse sealing, and ultrasonic sealing) can be selected based on the bag material.

 

Cooling and shaping device: Cools and shapes the heat-sealed bag to ensure seal strength and smoothness.

 

Discharging and output device: After completing all steps, finished bags are removed from the bag gripper and delivered to the next process (such as a cartoner or case packer) via a chute or conveyor.

 

Detection and control system:

Photoelectric sensor: Detects the presence of bags in the bag storage and whether the bags have been properly picked up and opened.

 

PLC (Programmable Logic Controller): The brain of the entire machine, controlling the sequence, timing, and logic of all actions.

 

Human-Machine Interface (HMI Touch Screen): Used to set parameters (such as bag length, fill volume, temperature, and speed), monitor operating status, and diagnose faults.
